Should you find it necessary to cancel or curtail your stay, a charge of a further nights stay per person of the applicable tariff will be made.
Accommodation charges will be settled upon arrival. During your stay all purchases may be booked to your room. We accept most leading credit/debit cards with a pin number. Rather than inconvenience guests on departure we will forward or charge any outstanding late accounts. However, complete accounts may not be forwarded on for payment unless credit facilities have been previously arranged.
For guests who require a VAT breakdown on their bill please request this with Reception on check out. Guests staying for longer periods must settle their account every 7 days.
On the day of arrival the rooms are available from 3pm; however you may wish to use our facilities prior to occupying your room. On your day of departure it is requested that guests vacate their rooms by 11.00am. Extensions to these can be arranged at an extra cost. (Porters are available to store luggage for you).

Although we cannot guarantee a set time each day, your room will be serviced throughout your stay between 9.00am and 4.00pm. Should you have any specific requirements, please contact the Housekeeper via Reception by dialing 0.

The hotel has two car parks offering a limited number of free parking spaces on a first come first serve basis; once these spaces are full we ask that you park at the nearby ‘Belle Meadow Car Park’ which is a two-minute walk from the hotel.
Both our on-site car parks are secured overnight, however, we do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage in either our on-site car parks or the ‘Belle Meadow’ public car park.
Within easy driving distance of the Hotel is a wealth of attractions to suit everyone. If shopping is your thing then Barnstaple High Street offers a great selection of individual boutiques and chain retailers as well as the famous Barnstaple Pannier Market. Should you wish to make it a day out, Exeter is just over an hour’s drive away or an hour on the train. There is also the Affinity Devon Outlet Shopping near Bideford, which is just over a twenty minutes drive away. We are surrounded by beautiful golden sands beaches with Saunton, Woolacombe & Croyde all only a short drive away.
A selection of sporting attractions are available with a wealth of quality golf courses and fishing lakes in the area. Local villages such as Lynton & Lynmouth and Clovelly are perfect for a walk and a coffee or ice cream depending on the weather. A visit to the newly installed Damien Hirst statue ‘Verity’ in the town of Ilfracombe is also a must. There are also a number of local museums and galleries located throughout North Devon. Should you wish to watch either a play or a film, there is a Cinema and Theatre, both of which are located on Boutport Street.
