Plus, we do children's (12 and under) carvery and dessert every day for £7.
Fantastic carveries are a way of life at The Royal and Fortescue, and we’re very proud of the food we serve. Hotel guests and locals alike regularly compliment us on our fresh tasty food and outstanding customer service, returning time and time again to tuck into our carveries.

Tables in our RF restaurant fill up quickly, especially during busy periods such as on Sunday and during the school holidays.
Therefore please call us on 01271 342289 to arrange a table in advance of your visit.
You can also let us know of any dietary requirements if needed whilst booking.

Locally Sourced Produce
All of our meats and vegetables are sourced locally whenever possible.
We are lucky to know some amazing local foods producers right on our doorstep; for example, our silverside of beef comes from a small holding, Swannacott Manor Farm about an hour down the road in North Cornwall and our turkeys come from MC Kelly near Crediton in Mid-Devon.
All of our vegetables are sourced from local fruit and veg supplier, John Patt's Ltd whom source primarily hyper-local produce, such as cauliflower and cabbages from Braunton, swedes from South Molton and eggs and potatoes from Bideford!
Dietary requirements: We endeavour to cater for any dietary requirement and have many great vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, but we advise calling ahead to make sure we can offer you the best possible options.
