Hidden Beaches in Devon Worth Discovering
As those who love the South West will already know, there are a number of popular and much-loved beaches, especially in the North Devon area. Such as the must-visit Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde - all within a short drive of us in Barnstaple
However, there's also an abundance of remote, hidden, and secret beaches in the area that are off the radar for tourists, usually visited by locals only.
A news article from our umbrella company Brend Hotels looks at such beaches - featuring locations off the popular routes such as Lee Bay, Peppercorn Valley and Beach, Woody Bay and more. They're all still within the regions surrounding our hotel too.
Some of these North Devon beaches you can drive too, but others require popping on a pair of solid walking boots and carrying supplies. Reaching these locations is worth the effort for the jaw-dropping scenery, the embrace of nature and the calm silence that comes with being away from the crowds.
